Hey all! No baby yet. Also, no pictures this time. I keep avoiding posting because I don't have pictures to post and I'm starting to realize that if that's always my excuse I will end up never posting anything.
I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and the doctor says Little Miss Pimentel could come any day now! Her due date is still two weeks away, so it's just a waiting game to see what she feels like doing.
We got the keys to our new apartment on Wednesday and are SUPER excited to be moving into a place with more room. We have the nursery almost all set up already! Now we just have to work on moving in all the stuff that belongs in the rest of the house.
That's all the updates for now. More to come!

Ukuleles Are Fun!
Wow! Week 33 already! I'm now carrying an ukulele sized baby inside my body, only she has more sticking-out pokey parts than an ukulele.
So much has happened since I last posted! One brother-in-law is now in Bogota, Columbia serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, another brother-in-law got married to one of the most awesome chicas I know, I got a new job, and I got stretch marks! Honestly, not so excited about the stretch marks, but it means Baby's getting bigger and that is exciting!
This is what I look like, as of yesterday:
When some of the girls at work found out I'm due in just a month and a half, their reaction was "You're so tiny!!" I guess I look pretty small for someone so far along, but I feel HUGE.
Here are some of the pictures you missed:
This past week we started our childbirth classes and we're pretty excited about that! We've been practicing breathing exercises and got one of those big, blow-up exercise balls for me to practice sitting/balancing on so I can use it for labor. We've been thinking more about trying to do an unmedicated birth, so I'm trying to actually take this practicing thing seriously.
We have season passes to the local water park and I have been thoroughly enjoying the lazy river and wave pool! Having Baby's weight taken off of me for a little while is wonderful!
Post comments if you have any questions or if there's anything specific you want me to post about!

Banana Bread
20 weeks have come and gone. We've experienced morning sickness and dizzy spells. Jon has endured having to cook almost every meal and (simultaneously) having me not want him to touch me ever. We're well into the second trimester now and things are looking up. Jon gets cuddles again, I can help with the housework without passing out, and we've both felt the baby move! Things are becoming more real for both of us, and, while that is daunting, things are also seeming more doable now that I'm back to something resembling normal.
On Friday I went to have an ultrasound looking like this:
And came back with pictures of this:
That is our little girl!!!! Isn't she cute???? (OK, so only a parent can really see an ultrasound picture as 'cute,' but it's definitely exciting!)
On Saturday our little girl was moving around a whole bunch and Jon actually got to feel it!
Now we get to work on coming up with a list of names fit for a little angel! I've also been having fun looking at all the pink baby stuff online! Jon has to remind me occasionally that we'll want to reuse some of the baby stuff for other children and a more gender neutral color might be better... But that's OK, because it's all so cute!!!!!
We've come to a very strange point in my pregnancy where thebump.com and the countdown at the top of our blog now compare our munchkin to two different fruits and I'm really uncertain which to go with. I thought it'd be easier to come up with a banana related food than a cantaloupe related food, so I used that. In the future there will be more discrepancies and I'll probably just pick whichever food makes me happier that particular week. I hope it doesn't confuse anyone too much - I know it had me confused for a little while.

Mango Sorbet
Okay, so it's kinda been a while since I last posted. Junior is now the size of a mango (about 6 inches long) and has been rather active lately. I felt the first little kicks that I was sure about this past Tuesday, the 26th of February! It's been pretty exciting for me and maybe a little anticlimactic for Jon, since he still doesn't actually get to feel anything for another few months.
Since it's been so long since I last posted, here are some of the pictures you missed!
People at work comment on how little I'm showing, but Junior is certainly making his presence know to me! Any time I lay down and half the time while I'm standing I know exactly where the little munchkin is. I don't feel like a whale yet, but I definitely feel bigger!
I know a lot of people are wondering when we'll find out the gender. Well it should be this Friday as long as Junior cooperates! I'm so excited!
In other news, I'm finally able to eat meat again! It has been heavenly!
That's all for now. Can't wait to let you all know what we're having! Love you all!

Week 17: Our Valentine's Day date to the Museum of Ancient Life. If you look really hard you can see the T-Rex skeleton behind me!
Week 18: This was taken at the nicklecade, where we were celebrating our birthdays with some awesome friends!
Week 19: This was just this past weekend!

Guacamole
This week Junior is the size of an avocado! It might seem like these fruits are fluctuating in size rather than consistently getting bigger, but this fruit comparison is actually referring to the length of the fruit. Hopefully that clears up any confusion, because I know I thought a naval orange was bigger than an avocado...
Our little Junior has reached an important developmental step. Junior can now be indoctrinated with all the best music because our baby can HEAR!!!!! Yes, we have been waiting for this since we found out I was pregnant.
This week has also been important for me medically. I spent the last week going to 3 different doctors for things ranging from "ew, I feel really yucky" to "you keep telling me this is normal... and I'm pretty sure you're wrong, so send me to a specialist!" At the beginning of the week I was given an anti-nausea medication, which has helped me to feel so great! Except for today because I forgot to take it until just now... >_< And at the end of the week I saw a wonderful neurologist who took the time no one else would to discover that when I stand my blood pressure drops, explaining why I've been nearly passing out every time I stand for more than about half an hour. I'm a little frustrated the 2 other doctors I saw first couldn't have told me that, but that feeling is overshadowed by the gratitude I feel for knowing what's wrong with me and what to do about it. And I learned that sometimes you need to trust your gut and not your doctor. Yay for life lessons!
And now I have a picture for you!
We had to go to the store anyway, so we thought it'd be fun to do this weeks picture in the baby isle. And, because Junior believes in consistency, once again our child tried to hide. When I got dressed that morning Jon looked at me and said "look, you have a bump!" But it kinda disappeared for the camera... silly camera-shy child. But what do you think? Can you tell I have a mini-bump?
I think that pretty much sums up our week. Here's the link to all Junior's details for the week: http://pregnant.thebump.com/pregnancy-week-by-week/16-weeks-pregnant.aspx
Love you all! Thanks Mom and Dad for all your support this week!

Orange Sticky Buns
Hello, my lovely family and friends! I regret to inform you that there will be no picture posted this week. This is due to my being sick and refusing to get out of bed. Don't worry though, I'm trying to keep baby good and healthy. Jon had made numerous trips to the store this weekend, to ensure that I'm getting hydration, electrolytes, and healthy nutrients. I happen to have the sweetest, most awesomest, wonderfully loving husband ever!
In baby news, I'm getting bigger! Of course I still don't look pregnant yet, but it gives me hope that maybe I'll look pregnant soon! I've had to start using my belly band over my jeans! Yay! Our beautiful baby is growing so much (about the size of a navel orange) and is now able to use all joints, which means the olympic size swimming pool baby's living in is being enjoyed thoroughly (much to the excitement of Dad, who swam in high school).
Here's the link with all the other info about how much Junior is growing: http://pregnant.thebump.com/pregnancy-week-by-week/15-weeks-pregnant.aspx
We love you all! Happy Super Bowl! Go 49ers!!

Peach Cobbler
For anyone who wants to follow my tummy growth, we'll try to post pictures weekly. Here are pictures taken on weeks 4, 10, and 11 in order. As you can see... well... there's not much to see yet.
We got supper lucky for week 13! I felt great, so Jon took me out on a date! Dinner and a movie are the best rewards for finally feeling good. Here's a picture from after our movie Friday night.
It's a little washed out, but look! I felt good enough to do my makeup!!!!!! (Yes, this is a big step for me.)
For those of you wondering where baby is in the development process just follow the link below.
We love you all and we're so excited to share this wonderful new part of our lives with you!
